Finding a trainer can be a challenge. At Discover You, your training program is tailored to your specific needs, goals and lifestyle.

As a Discover You client, we will help you connect to your body through movement. By showing you proper movement patterns and form you’ll learn how to fully engage your muscle groups from exercise to exercise. As you begin to discover what works best for you, you’ll see the benefits not only physically but in your overall confidence.

All personal training programs start with a free consultation. The purpose of this session is to better understand your goals and your current fitness level, as well as gives us a chance to get to know one another. In every session, it’s important you feel comfortable to share your personal fitness journey.

Following the consultation, we will develop your training program that improves overall flexibility, muscle tone and cardiovascular strength and most importantly, we want to help you feel confident on your path to self-discovery through fitness.

At Discover You, the goal to educate you and leave you feeling confident when moving to your own beat. Movement isn’t just for the present, it is also for our future selves.

One-on-one training

One-on-one training happens in-person or virtually, so no matter where you are, we can work together. Packages are sold in 6, 12, or 18 sessions so that we are both committed to seeing your success. Training sessions are one our in length and can include strength training, barre, mat pilates, stretching & mobility components. A consultation and client intake form are completed prior to any commitment so that we are on the same page and ensure we are a good fit to work together.

Training is not only a time commitment, but a financial one too, so it is important to ensure that everyone is on the same page, and has clear expectations of each other. I personally love one-on-one training, because I can not only grow a stronger relationship with my clients, but I can experience first hand the confidence and success that someone can experience through training.

Personalized online training

This is a self-guided, but in depth approach. You will receive a monthly training program to follow on your own with support the entire way. You will not only receive the program but also weekly check-ins, other informational resources for sleep, stress, nutrition, and other lifestyle components. Discover You is based off of a holistic approach, not just movement. This personalized experience encompasses everything to get you feeling your best.

Programs are designed to fit your goals & needs, your time constraints, access to equipment, if any, and to get you excited to move your body in whatever ways feel best for you.

It is recommended to commit to a minimum of three months to experience your best results, but the commitment is renewed on a month-to-month basis. I am there to support you, guide you, and answer any questions you have along the way. A consultation will always take place before committing so we are on the same page to success.

Program Designs

Program designs are the most independent approach. Clients meet virtually or in-person for one session to review the program and go over form. Clients then perform for the program for a suggested 4-6 weeks before returning for another updated training program. Programs are based off of the client’s goals and interests.

Before committing and creating a program, clients meet for a consultation so that the program can best reflect what they are looking for.

 
 

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW LONG IS THE COMMITMENT TO A PERSONAL TRAINER?

One-on-one packages can be purchased in bundles of 6, 12, or 18 sessions at a time. Personalized online training is a month long commitment, but in order to feel your best, a minimum three month commitment is recommended. Program design is recommended to be renewed on a 4-6 week basis to continue building momentum and strength. The commitment is as long as you would like from there for any personal training options - but the longer you work with a trainer the more consistent and efficient your workouts will be, and therefore your results will vary depending on your commitment.

I WANT GUIDANCE WITH PROGRAMMING BUT I CAN'T COMMIT TO WEEKLY SESSIONS. IS THERE AN OPTION WITH LESS COMMITMENT?

Discover You offers program designs for those who need more assistance with programming but can't commit to weekly training sessions. The session is 1.5 hours in length to go over the program together. Clients typically work on the program for 4-6 weeks on their own before booking in a new session to receive an updated program.

I WOULD LOVE TO WORK WITH YOU BUT I AM NOT LOCAL. IS THERE A WAY WE CAN STILL WORK TOGETHER?

Most definitely! Discover You offers personalized online programming tailored to your needs, goals, and access to gym space and equipment. Online support and guidance is available throughout your training. An online app is used to track workouts, view exercise videos, and review cueing and proper technique. Online training is recommended in three month commitments. Each month the program changes to continue to gain confidence and experience success.

HOW DO YOU FIT INTO MY LIFESTYLE?

I come to you, or we meet virtually, making each session the most convenient with your busy schedule - whether that be in your home or in a gym setting. Alternatively, if you are seeking program design, the program is completed independently on your own, with one initial session to review the program. Online training programs are self-guided, so clients complete the sessions as it fits into their lives, with online support throughout.

Sessions vary depending on the offering you are interested in. One-on-one sessions are sold in 6, 12, or 18 session packages. Personalized online programming is sold monthly, but a three month commitment is recommended. Program design is recommended to be renewed every 4-6 weeks.
