14 Days of Self-Love
I began my blog 4-5 years ago. I actually can’t remember because it has been that long! When I initially set out to start it I knew it was something that had to remain consistent or else people would lose interest and find other things to read instead. I have been very committed to writing over the years but the past few months I have felt uninspired. The fact that this is my first post of 2019 says it all! But, I am determined to get back on track and share my thoughts with you again.
What I am feeling really inspired about is self-love. I am launching a FREE guide, 14 Days of Self-Love on February 1st! The reason I wanted to create this resource was to help people find the time to put themselves first. In a world where we constantly give to others and remain connected 24/7 via technology, I thought it would be a great initiative to help people reconnect with themselves.
Each day from February 1st-14th you will follow journal prompts and self-reflection questions. The intent is that it takes no longer than 5-15 minutes of your day. It seems simple but sometimes just committing that much time to a few personal thoughts can be tough to make happen. My goal with 14 Days of Self-Love is to remind everyone that in order to give your best self to the world you have to take care of you.
Often times when we take moments to reflect we discover what it is we truly want and need. Not all questions will be light, and some will challenge your beliefs. Even after creating the questions, as I sat and came up with a few answers myself, I noticed that some made me uncomfortable. My hope is that we can learn to embrace the discomfort as points of vulnerability and opportunity for growth.
